Question of the day: Does only single donor hair bleach to 613?

Cut hair from two girls, don't mix them, bleach them to 613, they will reach 613.

Cut hair from two girls, but mix them together, bleach them to 613, they will reach 613.

Cut hair from 3 girls... will bleach to 613.

Cut hair from 10 girls... will bleach to 613.

Hair doesn't bleach to light colors for two reasons:

Reason 1: The hair has been chemically processed. The more it got processed, the worse the bleachability becomes.

Some high-end hair gets minorly processed, will bleach to 613.

Some high-end doesn't get processed and have the nice material, this will bleach to even lighter colors like #101, and remain healthy.

However, most hair on the market is simply processed floor hair.

This uses fairly strong chemicals to burn away the cuticles, makes the hair thin, meaning the limit will be around 27.

Synthetic hair of course wouldn't bleach, and the only human hair that wouldn't bleach, is that which has been dyed many times before.

This type is called as salon hair, it will mostly only get to a 4.

Reason 2: You simply didn't do it right. We're all human beings and we all make mistakes, even though we want to find the blame in others.

Just make sure you asses your own bleaching process with an open-mind before finding faults in the quality.

Some use conditioner before bleaching, making the cuticles closed, making it harder to bleach. Some simply stop after something like 30 minutes, and think the color they have, is the max.

The max would be where the hair no longer is healthy, and loses elasticity.

Some people simply forget to use the bleaching powder, or use the wrong ingredients.

Some apply the mixture unevenly and get mixed results. Some don't even open the weft and wondering why some hairs didn't bleach.

Some overbleach it and destroy the hair.
