Who actually reads this site
A narrow, commercially useful audience: people starting or running a hair extension business. Resellers, salon owners, kiosk operators, stylists building a product line, and people deciding which wholesale supplier to sample next.
Two things about how they get here are worth knowing before you spend anything:
- The vendor layer is what they come for. The free list of 50+ wholesale hair vendors, the vendor directory and the vendor reviews carry the readership. The 121-post archive supports it.
- This is a push audience, not a search audience. Seller-side search terms — “hair vendors”, “wholesale hair vendors”, “start a hair business” — carry very little US search volume compared with consumer terms like “hair extensions”. Most readers arrive from the Hair Money Making Guides Facebook group, which has over 10,000 members. If your campaign is planned around search volume, plan it around something else here.
We do not publish a rate card or audited traffic figures on this page, because a number without a date and a definition is worth nothing to a buyer. Ask, and you will get the current figures with both.
What we sell
- Display advertising. The site is supported by Google display ad slots that run site-wide. If you buy through Google’s network you can target this site’s audience without talking to us at all.
- Clearly labelled sponsored content, considered case by case. If we run it, it says so at the top, in plain language, before the reader reaches the pitch — the standard the FTC sets out in its native advertising guide for businesses. A disclosure buried at the foot of a post is not a disclosure.
What we will not sell
This list is the reason the vendor pages are worth advertising next to. Every item on it has been asked for at least once:
- A place on the free vendor list. It is free to read and free to be on. Selling entries would turn the site’s only real asset into a directory of whoever paid.
- A review, a better review, or a rating. The vendor reviews are unedited comments from group members. We do not write them and we will not sell them.
- Deletion of negative comments. Pages such as JP Hair and XBL Hair carry blunt criticism from members and it stays. Note that this is not only our policy: the FTC’s 2024 Rule on the Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials bans paying for reviews that express a particular sentiment and bans suppressing negative ones.
- Undisclosed sponsored posts, or links quietly inserted into existing articles. If a page changes because someone paid, the page says so.
- The email list or member data. There is no list to sell — the vendor list is not gated behind an email capture. See the privacy policy.
The FTC’s Endorsement Guides are the reference we work from, and they apply to you too if you pay influencers to promote your hair.
Vendors: getting listed costs nothing
If you supply hair and you simply want to be findable, you do not need this page. Ask members of the Facebook group to post their experience — with photos, the grade and texture, and how long they wore it. That is where every page in the vendor reviews came from, and it is free. Be aware that the same route carries honest bad reviews as readily as good ones.

- Rough budget and dates. This saves both sides a round trip.
- Whether you are a supplier hoping to appear in the vendor list, in which case the answer is in the section above and it is free.
FAQ — frequently asked questions
How much does advertising cost?
There is no published rate card. Send your budget and what you want to run and you will get a straight answer, including “this site is too small for that” where it is true.
Can I pay to be added to the vendor list?
No. It is free, and it is not for sale at any price.
Can I pay to have a bad review taken down?
No. If a comment is factually wrong — not merely unflattering — email us with the detail and we will correct it in public, the same way we handle our own errors.
Do you do affiliate deals?
There are currently no affiliate links in the vendor list or the reviews, and adding them there is not on the table. Ask about other pages.
Will you review my hair if I send free samples?
Free product does not buy a review here, and an undisclosed one would breach the FTC guides linked above. Sending samples to group members who post their honest experience is the route that works.
